Massive congratulations to James Snelling on being selected as a finalist for the 2026 Agri Eastern Cape Toyota Young Farmer of the Year competition. 👏

At just 32 years old, James is proudly representing the Tylden Farmers Association and continues to build an impressive farming enterprise with Dohne Merino sheep, Angora goats and Fenfield cattle.

We are especially proud to see a fellow member of Round Table Cathcart 75 representing Border Area on such a grand stage. Your hard work, dedication and passion for agriculture are an inspiration to the next generation of South African farmers.

Wishing you all the very best for the competition. 🇿🇦🌾🐑

Meet the Tabler Series

The strength of Round Table lies in the people, the friendships and the shared experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Best part of being a Tabler:
“The connections you make with people and fellow Tablers. Everyone has similar interests and yet different experiences which we all can learn from. I’ve never been to any event that wasn’t fun or walked away from an experience that wasn’t worthwhile.”

“Legacy is planting seeds in a garden whose shade you will never enjoy.”

“Willingly give and graciously receive; what you do to or for another, you do to and for yourself.”

Round Table is more than meetings and events—it’s about building meaningful connections, learning from one another, and leaving a legacy that will benefit generations to come.

Our Area Chairman raiding season kicked off two weeks ago with a visit to Fort Beaufort 62, followed by Stutterheim 103 this week, with EL No.1 on the cards next Monday.

It’s always great to see Tablers enjoying fellowship and conducting constructive meetings while sharing the same values and goals. Ultimately, it’s all about bringing much-needed service to the communities we serve.

Looking forward to an exciting few weeks ahead as we build up to our first Area Conference, Midyear, hosted by Stutterheim in the first week of August.
