Border JKA team returns with huge medal haul from national champs The Border JKA team shone at the SAJKA Championships, winning 70 medals

This past weekend we took our JKA Eastern Cape (Border) team to compete at the SAJKA National Championships in Johannesburg. The team consisted of 66 karate-ka from Border JKA Karate East London, Mthatha JKA, Maclear JKA and Barkly East JKA.

The team did exceptionally well with a total count of 70 medals over the 2 days.
Gold - 28 (of which 8 were double gold)
Silver - 14
Bronze - 28
