💗 How long have you been coming to 86 Chamberlain?
“I’ve been with Basically Beautiful Chamberlain since it opened.”

💗 What’s your favourite thing about 86 Chamberlain?
“I love it! The people are amazing and so helpful, and the communication with clients is wonderful. Bio Sculpture is also a brand like no other!”

💗 What does 86 mean to you?
“It really feels like home. It’s so welcoming, and after long, stressful days, it gives me the experience and relaxation I need.”

✨ Tell us something about yourself…
“I’m a very bubbly person, and they definitely understand all types of personalities — which is what makes me so happy!”

And there’s one more thing we absolutely loved hearing from Nerissa…

👷🏽‍♀️ As a woman working in the construction industry, she knows all too well how demanding life can be — both physically and mentally.

“Basically Beautiful is definitely my biggest reward I give myself each month… and I love it!” ❤️

“I’ve been going to Chamberlain Road since they opened, and before that I went to the Vincent store for more than 10 years.”

“The staff are all fantastic and always friendly. My two regular ladies, Janet and Lauren, are absolutely wonderful and always willing to give advice when asked.”

“If my memory serves me well, I’ve been coming since 2011.” 😊

At 86 Chamberlain, cleanliness and hygiene aren’t an afterthought — they are part of every treatment, every client, every day. 🤍

🔹 STEP 1 — CLEAN
After every client, each set of tools is thoroughly washed using disinfectant to remove product, residue and contaminants.

🔹 STEP 2 — DRY
The instruments are carefully dried and prepared for the next stage of our sanitation process.

🔹 STEP 3 — UV SANITISATION
The cleaned instruments are placed into our UV steriliser as part of our hygiene procedure.

🔹 STEP 4 — PROTECTED & READY
Once processed, each set is placed into a separate clean plastic sleeve, keeping the instruments protected until they are needed for the next client.

And it doesn’t stop with our tools. 🧽✨

We take pride in maintaining a salon environment that is clean, hygienic, organised and welcoming, with attention given to our treatment areas and equipment throughout the day.

💗 How long have you been coming to 86 Chamberlain?
“I’ve been coming since I moved to East London in July 2023, and it’s become one of my favourite little self-care spaces.”

💗 What’s your favourite thing about 86 Chamberlain?
“The ladies are always so warm, kind and welcoming. The salon is beautiful, clean and aesthetically pleasing — and I’ve never left disappointed. Every visit feels like therapy.” 🤍

✨ Tell us something about yourself…
“I exercise 5 times a week at 5am — without fail! 🤭 It’s become such an important part of looking after my mental health.”

We absolutely love this reminder from Inathi: self-care is about so much more than looking good. It’s about taking care of your body, your mind and making time for the things that make you feel good. 🌸

Janine has been part of the Basically Beautiful journey since 2015 (she thinks! 😊), starting with us at Retail Park before following her nail technician to 86 Chamberlain Road.

We asked Janine a few questions…

💗 How long have you been coming to 86 Chamberlain Road?

“I’ve been a client at Basically Beautiful since 2015 (I think!) at Retail Park, and I obviously had to follow my nail tech to 86. 😊”

💗 What’s your favourite thing about 86 Chamberlain?

“My absolute favourite thing is the vibe and atmosphere at 86. The ladies are always so nice and always have a smile on their faces.”

🍫 Tell us something about yourself…

“Every now and then I love to surprise the girls with my brownies from Thee Brownie Queen!” 😋❤️

And Janine, we LOVE that! 🥹

It’s these little relationships, conversations, smiles — and yes, the occasional brownies! 😂 — that make 86 feel like so much more than a place to have a treatment.
