BUSINESS TAKEOVER OPPORTUNITY – EAST LONDON

MyWhiteboard Homeschool Tutor Centre
Available from January 2027
After much thought, I am looking for the right person to take over MyWhiteboard. It’s a well-established homeschool tutor centre in East London.
This is not a job opportunity. It is a full business handover to someone who will independently own and run the centre going forward.

About the Centre:

MyWhiteboard supports Grade 1–7 homeschool students, particularly children with learning difficulties or those who simply do not thrive in mainstream schooling.
We work with parent-chosen curricula (we do not supply curriculum ourselves) and teach the required subjects according to the selected programme. The centre operates as a tutor centre, not a registered school, and student numbers are intentionally kept small (usually between 8 and 12 students) to allow for genuine individual attention.
At present:
•9 students are enrolled
•8 families have indicated they would remain, provided the right person takes over
• Fees are paid monthly in advance (11 months of the year)

The Right Person:

This would suit someone who:
• Has solid experience working with children
• Has proven experience supporting neurodiverse learners
• Understands and genuinely embraces neurodiversity
• Cares about both academic progress and emotional development
• Is committed to maintaining small student numbers
• Has suitable premises in central East London
• Understands clearly that this is a business takeover, not employment
For phase transitions (Grades 3, 6 and 9), assessments must be marked by someone with SACE registration or an NQF Level 4 in Assessment and Facilitation.

What Is Included:
The handover includes:
•An established student base
• Branding, website and domain
• Social media presence
•An existing invoicing system
•A strong reputation within the local homeschool community.

Furniture is not included, although tables and chairs can be discussed if required.

A structured handover period will be provided to ensure continuity for students and reassurance for families. After that, I will step away fully from the business.
