🥳 We open 2026 by wishing one of our founding board members Professor Marina Xaba-Mokoena a wonderful 88th birthday 🎂 !

A pioneer in South African Medicine and founding dean for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Transkei we are inspired by her legacy and we doing our part to pay it forward.

In 1985, Prof highlighted the importance of achieving at least 50% for Mathematics and English and how this influences a candidate’s prospects of being admitted in university for STEM careers and an indication of future success in the study of medicine. As such we ensure that all our learners obtain at least 50% for Mathematics for us to consider them as passed.
