Yesterday, the EC TVET Month Roadshow stopped at Egqili High School, where Grade 11 and 12 learners engaged with the team during a focused career guidance session.

The session also featured HWSETA, TETA and SATVETSA, bringing together different voices from the skills development sector to help learners make informed decisions about their future.

DAY 3 | EC TVET MONTH ROADSHOW 2026

The TVET Month Roadshow is making its way through the Joe Gqabi District, taking information and opportunities directly to schools and learners.

Yesterday, the team engaged Grade 9 to Grade 12 learners at Ntlalo High School in Steynsburg, providing insight into the evolving TVET landscape and the Occupational Programmes being introduced.

The journey continues today as the Roadshow heads to Aliwal North.

The Eastern Cape TVET Month Roadshow continues in the Joe Gqabi District!

Yesterday, our Marketing and Communications Officials visited Simphiwe Khethwa High School in Venterstad, continuing the advocacy drive to create awareness about the new Occupational Programmes being introduced across TVET Colleges and the opportunities they offer to prospective students. 🎓

📍 Today, the Roadshow heads to Steynsburg, where the team will visit Ntlalo High School.

The Buffalo City TVET College Marketing and Communications Team is currently participating in the Eastern Cape 2026 TVET Month Roadshow in the Joe Gqabi District.

Day 1 in Mount Fletcher was a great success, as Five of the Eastern Cape TVET Colleges, together with NSFAS, W&RSETA, SAQA and CoSACSA, visited Luzie Drift SSS and Sididane Technical High School to promote TVET opportunities and highlight the sector’s transition to Occupational Programmes.

Today, the Roadshow continues in Venterstad. 👏🏽

A glimpse of our student-entrepreneurs from all eight Eastern Cape TVET Colleges in action, pitching their ideas and existing businesses to the panel of judges.

Ideas were shared, businesses were pitched, and dreams were put on the stage! 👏

Let’s take a moment to appreciate our incredible student-preneurs who represented Buffalo City TVET College at yesterday’s Inspire Entrepreneurship Regional Competition. 👏🔥

You fought a good fight! While you may not have made it through to represent the Eastern Cape at the National Competition, don’t give up on your ideas or the businesses you’ve already started. Keep building, keep learning and keep believing.

Congratulations to the Four students from Ingwe TVET College, Ikhala TVET College and Port Elizabeth TVET College, who will be representing the Eastern Cape at the National Competition.
