Meridian Pinehurst Preschool

Meridian Pinehurst Preschool Our nursery school provides a safe, nurturing environment for children from 3 months to 5 years old.

Situated in Pinehurst, on the border of Durbanville and Kraaifontein, Meridian Pinehurst was officially opened in 2013 and is conveniently located along Okavango Main Road, which leads to access roads such as the N1 and R300. As a Meridian School, our school is managed by Curro as part of a joint venture with Old Mutual. One application ensures placement for your child for the duration of their schooling career as they transition through the phases, from infant to alumni. Our nursery school offers a safe, nurturing environment where teachers and assistants engage children in weekly themed programmes. Our internally developed nursery school programme is designed with the Early Learning and Development Areas (ELDAs) in mind, to stimulate physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being through developmental activities and engaging play areas. These ELDAs foci on aspects such as gross motor development, social awareness, communication, spatial awareness, and arts. Classrooms are designed to encourage educational curiosity, while our playgrounds are equipped with play structures that inspire physical development through movement and play. Our children receive a well-balanced, cooked meal, and snacks that are freshly prepared by our in-house kitchen. We are a nut-free zone and, therefore, do not serve any meals that contain nuts.
