The session highlighted how structure, consistency, professionalism, and quality control play a vital role in building successful and sustainable fashion brands. 👗💼✨

As part of our value-added approach, our designers are also coached by the FFSA CEO, who has walked the journey of building and sustaining a business for the past eight years. 🤝🏾📈 This mentorship equips designers with practical knowledge on the art of running a fashion business, guided by an expert within the fashion industry. 👠🧠✨

We are off to an amazing start and are excited about the journey ahead as we nurture and develop these young and emerging fashion designers into sustainable businesses and industry-ready brands. 🚀🌍🪡

Today, we proudly welcomed the Top 25 young and emerging designers selected for the 2026 Durban Fashion Fair programme.

This marked the official induction day, where we ushered these talented creatives into the journey ahead and outlined the expectations that will guide them over the coming months.

As Fezile Fashion Skills Academy (FFSA), the appointed training service provider for this programme, we are excited about the growth, development, and transformation that lies ahead.

We look forward to a fruitful and impactful training period — and we are confident that this cohort will deliver nothing short of excellence, culminating in an explosive showcase at the Durban Fashion Fair main show this September.
