KZN Dance Theatre teachers can't wait to kickoff 2015's Dance Academy. Registration this Saturday. Going to be an incredible year. So much potential and talent. Looking forward to seeing our students and meeting the new ones.

Dancer Profile for the day: Nkanyiso Kunene Qaqah

Nkanyiso Kunene was born and raised in South Africa in a township called Umlazi. Kunene is a high flying star of the new generation of dance and art, having performed both locally and internationally. Nkanyiso has established himself as a brand from performances and outreach programmes. He is an energetic and rare breed of South Africa.

Nkanyiso was trained at Siwela Sonke Dance Theatre in Contemporary, Classical Ballet, Zulu Dance, Improvisational Street Dance, Composition and Choreography.

Blindspot at the Metropolis Biennale Copenhagen(2009) and at the State of National Address Parliament Cape Town
