When students come to Active English and Active Maths, they learn in an atmosphere of "positive unpredictability" where the walls expand, the ceiling lifts, differences begin to dissolve and a tremendous sense of 'mental mobility' abounds. Risks become adventures, and even the most timid students may answer questions or surprise everyone by revealing hidden talents. Outrageous streaks of genius emerge without self-consciousness, and the students become receptive to exploring new possibilities.
Our aim is to promote learning as a joyous experience!

THEME OF THE WEEK

Our themes provide a certain amount of 'active' participation. Children learn best by doing.

Once I had a beach ball, beach ball, beach ball.
Once I had a beach ball bounce, bounce, bounce it went.
It was fun to throw that ball, throw that ball, throw that ball.
It was was to thriw that ball, on the beach all day.

As jy nog nie 'n Valentyns geskenk vir jou geliefde gekoop het nie, bak hierdie Sjokolade Brownies sommer almal saam en praat saam Afikaans!

Bestanddele
250 ml botter
250 g donker sjokolade
500 ml suiker
10 ml vanieljegeursel
5 groot eiers
90 ml kakaopoeier
180 ml koekmeel
2,5 ml sout

Metode
Smelt die botter en sjokolade in die mikrogolf.
Klits die suiker en vanielje by die sjokolade
Klits die eiers een vir een by die mengsel
Sif die meel,kakao en sout by en klits goed
Gooi in ‘n gesmeerde bake n bak vir 20 tot 30 minute by 180C.Dit moet nog drillerig bo-op wees as jy dit uithaal
Laat afkoel en sny in blokkies
Eet saam met roomys of room. Lekker warm of koud.
