RCL Anti-Bullying Assembly. The assembly reminded us of the power of unity, respect, and compassion within our school community.
Under this year’s theme, “Together, Everyone Achieves More,” learners came together to promote the spirit of Ubuntu and stand firmly against bullying in all its forms.
The programme included a meaningful prayer by the Student Christian Association, presentations by the RCL leadership, and an informative session by Lean In Girls on identifying and addressing bullying. The message was further brought to life through an interpretive dance, choir performance, an Ubuntu Club skit, and poetry that highlighted both the impact of bullying and the importance of speaking out.
The assembly concluded with a powerful moment of solidarity as leaders from various co-curricular and sports groups marched together, symbolising unity across all aspects of school life.
Together, we reaffirm our commitment to a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for every learner.

Consumer Studies Gr 10 excursion.🌸

The learners were hosted by the Westown Square, Shongweni. Youth development was key for the host as they guided the learner’s into various career options in the property and retail sector. They further provided our learners with the future plans of Westown Square.

Kalamata Greek Restaurant provided our learners with a sumptuous lunch and a full Greek experience. Dancing and breaking of plates. Oh what fun it was.

Grosvenor Girls’ High school was acknowledged by the University of Free State as one of their Honorary schools at the their Annual Top Achievers Breakfast. The event celebrated academic excellence and provided learners with the opportunity to engage with University leadership and fellow high achievers from schools across the Durban region. It was an informative and inspiring morning.

Grade 9 and Grade 12 Learners’ Visit to DUT Career Expo Open Week 6 May 2026

A group of Grade 9 and Grade 12 learners attended the DUT Open Day Career Expo, where they were exposed to a wide range of academic programmes and career opportunities. The exhibits were outstanding, offering interactive and engaging displays that captured the learners’ attention.

Representatives from each faculty were approachable, friendly, and highly knowledgeable. They provided clear and informative explanations about their respective fields of study, admission requirements, and potential career paths. This created a welcoming environment that encouraged learners to ask questions and explore their interests.

Notably, the expo showcased careers that are not commonly discussed in school settings. These lesser-known fields sparked significant interest among the learners, broadening their perspectives on future possibilities.

Overall, the visit was highly beneficial. Learners gained valuable insights into different career options, helping them make more informed decisions about their subject choices and future studies.
