Witteklip Secondary School would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Naturekrantz Community Outreach and Mr Cliffy Govender for their generous act of kindness.
On Friday, 5 June, Mr Govender and the Naturekrantz Community Outreach team visited our school and generously provided our learners with sandwiches and juice. This thoughtful gesture brought smiles to many faces and reminded our learners that there are caring individuals and organisations in our community who believe in supporting and uplifting our youth.

Witteklip Secondary School Celebrates Prestigious Achievement
Witteklip Secondary School is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Most Improved School Award in the Karanja Circuit. The award was presented at a special awards function held on 27 May 2026.
The achievement is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the school's learners, educators, management team, and parents. Principal Mr S. Moodley proudly received the award on behalf of the school.
To commemorate this significant milestone, the principal and educators gathered for a celebratory photograph, reflecting the collective effort that contributed to this success. Today, Witteklip Secondary School proudly hosted the CADSA Games against Meadowlands Secondary School โ and what an unforgettable day it was! ๐โฝ๐
Our learners showed incredible passion, teamwork, discipline, and school spirit across all sporting codes.
๐ Volleyball was a huge success, with both our boysโ and girlsโ teams bringing home victories!
โฝ Soccer ended in an exciting draw after a hard-fought match.
๐ Although we unfortunately lost the netball match, our girls played with determination and heart until the very end.
For many years, sport has always been an important part of the culture and spirit of Witteklip Secondary School, and seeing our children back on the field and courts again brought pride, excitement, and unity to our school community. This is more than just competition โ it is about growth, opportunity, teamwork, and rebuilding a strong sporting tradition for our learners. โค๏ธ

On behalf of the Witteklip Secondary family, we express our deepest sadness at the passing of our Circuit Manager, Mrs Myende, on Saturday, 2 May.
Mrs Myende was a dedicated leader and a passionate advocate for education. Her commitment to our schools, educators, and learners will always be remembered and appreciated.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working with her.
May her soul rest in peace.

As we begin the second term tomorrow, we would like to wish all our learners, educators, staff and families a wonderful and successful term ahead. May this new term be filled with growth, hard work, positivity and many achievements.
We hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable holiday and that those celebrating had a blessed and peaceful Easter with loved ones.
We are also incredibly proud to celebrate one of our Grade 12 learners, Amanda Majola, who was recently featured in the local newspaper for her passion, talent and dedication to dance. Amanda continues to inspire those around her through her hard work and determination, and we are proud to have her as part of our school family.
Congratulations Amanda โ we wish you all the very best as you continue to follow your dreams and make our school proud.
