Solutions on Engineering Mathematics for College and University curriculum

14/12/2021

A maths 1 student that I'm mentoring gave me this complicated question to find dy/dx so I thought I should also share it here. It is my first time encountering such a challenging question from differentiation. I always undermined differentiation, I never thought it could be so challenging.

Solutions on complex numbers. 💯

⚠Part of Maths N4 and Maths l curriculum📍

This section is very important to electrical engineering students. It is critical to know how to convert polar to rectangular vice versa using a calculator. ⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠

Solving 2nd order linear differential equations using the Operator D method. ✔

⚠This is found in Maths ll curriculum 📍

The Operator D theorem l, ll & lll plus case l, ll & lll. 💯

You will be required to know these cases and theorems by heart and most importantly you should be able to know the difference because when you solve a differential equation, you won't be told which case or theorem to use when simplifying. An equation might require different cases and theorems in order to get to the solution. ⚠⚠⚠⚠

Practise is very essential on this chapter. ⚠💯
