Grade 3 Green Warriors: Turning Waste into Wildlife Wonders! ♻️🐦
​Our Grade 3s are putting their sustainability skills to the test this week! As part of our current Life Skills focus on environmental awareness, the learners have been hard at work turning recycled materials into functional, beautiful bird feeders.
​It is inspiring to see how they have transformed everyday household waste into a helping hand for our local birdlife. Not only are they learning about the importance of recycling, but they are also discovering how easy it is to make a positive impact on the environment right in their own backyards!

Our little innovators are diving deep into the world of technology today! Grade 1 is officially stepping into the future as they explore the basics of **coding and robotics.**
It is absolutely incredible to see their problem-solving skills in action as they learn how to give robots commands and bring their ideas to life. From navigating mazes to understanding sequences, these young minds are proving that you are never too young to start building the future!

Once again, Assegai proudly held the banner high while representing our school at the Durban South Junior Primary Sport Day Friendly! 🇿🇦✨

Our learners displayed outstanding sportsmanship, excellent behaviour, and incredible determination throughout the day. Every learner who participated was awarded certificates and medals in recognition of their effort and participation. 🏅👏

From the very first race to the final event, our learners gave it their all and made us exceptionally proud. We certainly have some super-fast athletes at Assegai! ⚡🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge congratulations to all our learners and staff for their enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment. Thank you to the parents and supporters who continue to encourage our young stars every step of the way. 🌟❤️🖤

Our school was filled with excitement and imagination as learners came dressed as their favourite storybook characters in celebration of World Book Day! 🌟

From brave superheroes and magical princesses to beloved fairy tale and adventure characters, our learners truly brought stories to life. 📖🎭 The creativity, enthusiasm, and joy shown throughout the day reminded us of the wonderful power of reading and imagination.
