🇿🇦✨ Proudly Representing South Africa!

A very special congratulations to our learner, Naluthando, on being awarded her South African Protea Colours for Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Naluthando was awarded her Protea Colours in 2024 after representing South Africa as part of the Junior Group team. She also received her Protea blazer that year, marking an incredible milestone in her gymnastics journey.

Her journey began with KZN colours in 2018, which she earned every year through individual competitions. In 2022, South African Gymnastics expanded its international representation to include group competition, and Naluthando went on to be selected for the Junior team that represented South Africa from 2023 to 2025.

Her international journey included:

🇷🇴🇧🇬 2023: World Championships in Romania and Bulgaria
🇷🇼 2024: Africa Junior Championships in Rwanda, where the team proudly placed 2nd
🇧🇬 2025: World Championships in Bulgaria

In 2026, Naluthando transitioned to the Senior category and narrowly missed selection for the South African team at the March trials after placing second.

Her passion for the sport continues, however. She is currently training to become a Level 1–3 Junior Coach, working towards coaching the junior elite team, and has also qualified as a Level 1–3 Judge.

From athlete to coach and judge, Naluthando continues to grow and give back to the sport she loves. We are incredibly proud of her dedication, achievements and the honour of seeing her represent South Africa on the international stage. 🇿🇦🩵

📚✨ From the classroom to the pages of a published novel!

We are so proud to celebrate our Grade 5 teacher, Melize Smit, who has officially become a published author! ❤️

Melize’s debut novel, The Silence Between Us, was inspired by life experiences and a love for storytelling. What started as an idea has now become a real book, available for readers to enjoy.

Writing a novel while teaching, planning lessons and keeping up with everyday school life is no small achievement. Melize’s dedication and passion have truly paid off, and we are so excited to see her dream become a reality.

Her book has already received wonderful feedback from advance readers, with readers describing it as captivating and emotionally engaging. 🥹📖

As teachers, we encourage our learners to find their voices and share their stories, and Melize is a wonderful example of doing exactly that.

The Silence Between Us is now available to purchase on Takealot, and we couldn't be prouder of this incredible achievement!

On Thursday, 24 September, some of our boys and girls had the incredible honour of accompanying the Proteas onto the field as mascots during their first ODI against Australia! 🏏💚💛

Our young cricket stars proudly represented our KFC Mini-Cricket programme and got to experience a truly unforgettable moment on the field.

Congratulations to Naalu Botshiwe (Grade 4), who represented the KZNCSSA side at the South African Christian Schools Association Athletics Meeting on Saturday, competing in the U11 100m sprint and U11 100m mixed relay.

Naalu helped his relay team to victory, crossing the finish line as the final runner! 🏆💙

Well done, Naalu! We are so proud of you! 👏🏽

What we offer:

✅ Accredited QCTO Skills Programme: OC Learning Support Facilitator (SP 211007), NQF Level 5, 20 credits
