I'm trying to get some bags made in order to sell them. Recently I bought five pictures from animal placemats at a small market for R20. The fabric around the pictures was flawed but I'm using the pictures on shopping bags. here are two. A third with a lovely cheetah on it, was a special gift to my granddaughter.

I've been sewing under pressure due to other pressures in my life but, eventually I completed the orders : one cross body bag for Durban; two crossbody bags, now in Sweden; three drawstring project bags for Johannesburg, each with a matching zippered pouch for needles, scissors, crochet hooks etc. Enjoyable to make, even under pressure 🤗

Today I finished a shwe-shwe project bag with a drawstring closure and matching zip pouch for crochet hooks, scissors etc. Very pretty fabric! A birthday present for a friend's daughter.

My sewing focus for the last couple of weeks has been to make these zippered pouches as Christmas for teenaged girls in a children's home where I volunteer. A friend gave me nearly all the fabric that I used.

This is the ring cushion I made for our son and new daughter-in-law's wedding. They chose a Celtic theme.
I have tried a couple of times to create a post and attach a few photographs but the post does not appear. I'll try again and only post one photo.
