Student YMCA (Young Men Christian Association) is a student organisation associated with the YMCA. Student Y aims to empower students with life, leadership, and service by offering a range of activities and programmes in which students can participate. These range from recreational to volunteering (community work) and leadership training. We believe that all young people have potential to achieve
great things. They have the energy, enthusiasm, creativity and boldness to make a positive impact on their communities. Our programs seek to constantly re-enforce that ideal. In South Africa, the YMCA is a Christian youth Development organization that seeks to provide opportunities for young people to develop themselves in a way that will touch their families and communities in a positive manner.
