Our Squash siblings here at Glenashley Preparatory School shine once again! Congratulations to Yutika (Grade 7) and Vihaan (Grade 5) Maharaj, who have both been selected for the KZN Junior U13 Squash team, Girls and Boys respectively, and have both been awarded provincial colours. We wish the siblings well as they prepare for the upcoming 2026 Inter-Provincial Tournament (IPT) to be held in Gqeberha at the end of June. We are proud of your continued dedication, consistency and performance in your chosen sport - well done! Particular congratulations to Vihaan, who has been selected for U13 at the age of 11!
KZN Junior Squash

Grade 7 learner, Damon Govender, selected to represent and pictured here in his Durban Schools Invitational Football Team practice kit, has been selected to participate in the annual Eastern Local Football Associaton (LFA) tournament to be held in Benoni in October this year. Congratulations on your achievement Damon, we wish you all the best at the tournament!

Grade 5 families, you are so appreciated for putting on such a spread of delicious goodies for our Treat Sale today! Our learners had a wonderful time shopping up their sweet treats at break today. Thank you to our parents for giving your children some spending money to spend at our fundraiser today! Another enjoyable day with our happy learners! We extend our grateful thanks to our Glenashley Parents Association volunteers who served our learners today - thank you for your precious time, we appreciate it!

Glenashley Prep remain undefeated

Glenashley Preparatory School’s U13A soccer team has capped off an impressive season without a single defeat, delivering a consistent run of strong performances across a range of fixtures and festival competitions.

Throughout the season, the team showed maturity beyond their years, combining solid teamwork with determination and discipline. Their unbeaten record was built on a collective effort, with players supporting one another on the pitch and maintaining high standards in every match.

The school praised the squad for their commitment and positive attitude, highlighting the way they represented Glenashley Prep with pride and sportsmanship. The achievement reflects both natural ability and the hard work invested during training sessions.

Coach Lungelo Ngidi was commended for his guidance and structured coaching approach, which helped shape the team into a focused and well-organised unit over the course of the season.

Thank you to The Litterboom Project for sharing some amazing photos of our Glenashley Preparatory School Green Team hard at work for World Ocean Day🌊💙🩵 The Litterboom Project have confirmed "134 people ( 69 Adults & 65 Children) joining forces to make a difference. Collectively, we managed to remove a total of 181 Bags of Landfill with a weight of around 588,25Kg's – a solid effort all round!" Wow, what a fantastic effort - thank you to our environment eco warriors - we are proud of you!

What a fantastic morning of fun at our Diamond Jubilee Treasure Hunt fundraiser! A heartfelt thank you to all our families for their wonderful support of this special event. It was truly heartwarming to see our learners embracing the challenge, being great sports, and enjoying time outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous sponsors for donating the cash prizes, and a special thank you to Mrs Shephard and The Lunch Box for sponsoring tuckshop vouchers. Your support helped make the day even more exciting for our participants.

A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated support staff who worked behind the scenes to set up the treasure hunt course.
