Due to the very cold weather and rain, we are aware that messages are circulating on social media claiming that school will be closed tomorrow.

Please note that Durban East Primary School will be OPEN and operating as normal tomorrow.

All learners are expected to attend school according to the usual timetable unless an official notice is issued directly by the school.

We kindly ask parents and guardians to rely only on communication sent via the school’s official platforms and not on unverified social media posts.

Please ensure that learners come to school warmly dressed, with jerseys, jackets, raincoats, and umbrellas where possible.

Some highlights this term.
Our school took part in The Durban South Interschool sports last month.
We are extremely proud of both the children who did exceptionally well and their parents who showed such great support.

Backing Bafana Bafana! 🇿🇦⚽

The learners and staff of Durban East Primary would like to wish our national soccer team, Bafana Bafana, all the very best as they represent our beautiful country at the 2026 World Cup.

To show our support and national pride, our learners took part in a fun-filled mini soccer tournament against one another. Many proudly sported the colours of our South African flag, creating a wonderful atmosphere of excitement, unity, and patriotism.
We are incredibly proud to stand behind our team and wish them success as they take on the world stage.
