Our Afrihost Sports Festival brought local schools together for two days of netball, indoor hockey and water polo... and we loved having you on our home turf!

To every player, coach and the gangs of supporters who joined us, thank you for bringing your school spirit and making this such a fun couple of days. A school full of visiting teams and a sideline full of people cheering them on. It's why we do, what we do ❤️.

Our Grade 2 girls spent the term learning all about birds… so it was only fair that they went to meet a few as we closed up the term! 🐦

Off to Mitchell Park they went for some birdwatching and a chance to see their classroom learning come to life. Plenty to spot, plenty to chat about, and a pretty cool way to wrap up their Term 3 Birds theme.

Kourtney-Lee Edwards, you've had quite the netball season young lady! And you've got the gold to prove it. 🥇

Kourtney's team won the recent NPL Tournament, with Kourtney picking up two Player of the Match awards and being named one of 3 Players of the Tournament. What a way to finish!

And there’s more: her team has been invited to compete in the Dubai 7s! 👏
How cool is that. So much to be proud of, Kourtney. We hope you’re smiling as much as we are! ❤

Give our girls a stage, and they’ll give you an evening to remember. ❤️

Our Senior Primary Cultural Awards gave us plenty to clap about, with choral verse from every grade, Lisa Msomi on piano, Farren Grace singing, and Holly Jones and Layla Thurtell performing “Alone in the Universe” from Seussical Jr. Our choir rounded off the evening beautifully, as they always do.

And in between, we celebrated the girls whose talent and commitment bring so much to cultural life at Maris Stella. First up, our 2026 Music Award recipients are 🎶

Join us at Little Anchors for 3 mornings of play, creativity, outdoor adventures, messy masterpieces, new friendships and all the holiday magic that little people do best.
