A huge thank you to all our past pupils who stopped by the Past Pupils' Association Stand at Saturday's Thomas More College Country Fair.

We hope you enjoyed taking a trip down Memory Lane, trying your hand at our carnival games, reminiscing over a few childhood favourites and creating a new memory with our Polaroid Wall.

It was wonderful to reconnect with so many familiar faces, meet a few past pupils for the first time and see generations of the Thomas More community coming together.

Thank you to everyone who updated their details, browsed the old yearbooks, shared stories and added their Polaroid to our growing Memory Wall. We loved capturing a small piece of your Thomas More journey and adding it to this special collection of memories.

A special thank you to the Past Pupils' Association Committee for giving up their time to help make the stand such a success.

The annual Thomas More College Country Fair is finally here – a tradition that I'm sure brings back many wonderful memories for our past pupils.

Bring the family, dress warmly, and enjoy a great day catching up with friends, browsing the market stalls, enjoying delicious food and, of course, supporting your old school at the same time.

If you're a , be sure to pop in and visit us at the Past Pupils' Association Stand on the field. We've got a few fun activities planned, including our Polaroid Memory Wall, and we'd love the opportunity to catch up with you.

Whether you left Thomas More five years ago or fifty years ago, we'd love to see you.

The Thomas More College campus continues to evolve, and here's one benefit you can now enjoy as a past pupil.

With a special membership rate of just R400 per month, you have access to the TMC Sports Centre, professionally managed by the Kings Park Sports Medicine Centre team.

Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, build strength, join the Runner's Strength or Back to Basics classes, or make use of the resident physiotherapy services, there's something for everyone.

It may not have been here during your school days, but it's here for you now. We'd love to welcome you back to campus, so why not come and give it a try?

🎉𝐀 #𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞

We would like to congratulate Bridget Theunissen (Class of 2019) on her latest international triumph. It is always inspiring to see our past pupils competing on the world stage and making the Thomas More College community proud.

On Sunday, 26 July 2026, Bridget claimed victory in the Challenge Turku middle-distance triathlon in Turku, Finland, taking first place in the professional women's race.

Competing against a strong international professional field in challenging wet and rainy conditions, Bridget completed the 1.9 km swim, 90 km cycle and 21.1 km run in an outstanding winning time of 4:12:12.

This victory follows Bridget's success at Challenge Cesenatico in Italy earlier this year, marking her second international Challenge Family title of the 2026 season.

Congratulations, Bridget, on this fantastic achievement. Your dedication, determination and continued success on the international triathlon circuit are an inspiration, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate your accomplishments. We wish you every success as your professional career continues to flourish.

𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 - 𝐀 𝐓𝐌𝐂 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲

Some stories feel as though they were always meant to happen.

Josh Wiborg (Class of 2016) and Alex Williams (Class of 2014) met through running, only to discover they shared another connection – they were both Thomas More College past pupils.

Last weekend, surrounded by family, friends and a remarkable number of familiar TMC faces, they celebrated the beginning of married life together at the beautiful Firgrove Chapel in Alverstone. Filled with joy, laughter and so many heartfelt moments, it was a day that reflected not only their love for one another, but also the wonderful community of people who have shared in their journey.

From Alex's father, Jeremy Williams (Class of 1975), proudly walking her down the aisle, to Josh's bridal party made up of colleagues and friends from Thomas More College, the day was a beautiful celebration of love, friendship, community and belonging.

Congratulations, Josh and Alex. May your marriage be filled with every happiness, and may your next adventure together be your greatest one yet.
