Has something bad happened to you that still gives you nightmares and inhibits you from living up to your potential?
Around 30% of students entering Maharishi Institute–Johannesburg were diagnosed as having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Such long-term stress has a severe effect on a student's ability to study and absorb knowledge, and will also impact their work performance in later life.
Fortunately, MI–Johannesburg students learn the TM technique as part of their curriculum, and within a few months PTSD symptoms were relieved, especially with regular practice.
On the other hand, students from another Johannesburg university who did not learn TM, showed no relief from from their symptoms over the 105 days of testing, with some finding their stress levels interfering with their ability to attend college.
