Career exhibition - closing of program

23 July 2026 Wotana CLC hosted an engaging and lively Sports Day at KwaMaphumulo Sobuyaze Sports Grounds. The event featured a variety of fun and interactive activities, including netball, fun races, and hula hoop competitions.
Aquelle sponsored the event with both still water and flavoured Aquelle, which students enjoyed throughout the day, keeping them refreshed and energised. The College extends its sincere appreciation for this valuable contribution towards the success of the Sports Day.

🌟✨✨Throwback🔁Wednesday 🌟✨✨
On 24 June 2026, Thandiwe Cluster Centre, under KZN CET College, hosted a Sports Day at KwaMashu Sports Grounds, featuring soccer, netball, morabaraba, and tug of war. The event was well-organised.
In addition, an exhibition was held outside the sports grounds, with stakeholders including Old Mutual, Metropolitan, and One Life, offering valuable information and engagement opportunities to students as well as staff of Thandiwe Cluster Centre, including education on health awareness.

17 July 2026, KZN CET College satellite Amandlamusha, which operates under the main centre Funulwazi CLC, participated in Mandela Day activities by dedicating 67 minutes to community service at Idlamadoda Secondary School, which hosts the Amandlamusha satellite.
Mercy Shumikazi Foundation and members of the local community, joined hands with students and staff to paint the school, showing unity and a shared commitment to improving their environment.
As Nelson Mandela once said, “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others.”
This initiative reflects the true spirit of Mandela Day — giving back, working together, and making a meaningful difference.

On Thursday 16th July 2026 , at Masotsheni Reserve under the Molefe Tribal Authority in Nquthu under Mzinyathi District, the KwaZulu Natal Community Education and training ( KZN CET) College was invited by Inkosi Molefe tribal Authority to receive a piece of land which it was officially handed over to KZN CET College for the advancement of community skills development.
The initiative was championed by the Mercy Shumikazi Foundation, a local non- profit organisation actively promoting community development in Masotsheni . this is a legacy project aimed to honour late Mrs Mercy Shumikazi Buthelezi, who was a well- known vocations and skills teacher at the St Augustine High School.
The land handover ceremony was attended by uNdunankulu Mr Rapelang Motlounge who was representing Inkosi Molefe , Ward councillors and 15 Izinduna.
The KZN CET was represented by Mr Bongani Phakathi together with two centre managers Ms D.E Sithebe from Funulwazi CLC and Mrs Coka from Hlakaniphani

Today, 18 July 2026, in celebration of Mandela Day, Phindangene CLC is honoured to be among the centres supported by Build It, which is contributing a 2000-litre water tank and yard cleaning equipment as part of its commitment to giving back to the community through 67 minutes of service. The support was led by Build It Manager, Mr Siyabonga Dlamini.
The provision of the water tank comes at a critical time, as Phindangene CLC has been experiencing a shortage of water. This support will greatly assist in improving daily operations at the centre, enhancing the learning environment, and promoting cleanliness and sustainability. Phindangene CLC expresses its sincere appreciation to Build It for this meaningful contribution.
