Our grandparents enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and light refreshments while spending quality time with their grandchildren and capturing some special moments together. 🌸 Grade R Grandparents’ Day 🌸

Grandparents’ Day was such a wonderful and special event! Our Grade R learners truly shone as they sang, danced and recited poems in honour of their grandparents. So much love and joy filled the day and it was beautiful to see our grandparents enjoying the lovely weather and the special artwork their grandchildren created just for them. ❤️

Remembering a much-loved member of our NPS family.
It is with great sadness that the Northdene Preparatory School family mourns the passing of one of our current parents, Mrs Erica van Heerden.

Erica served faithfully on our School Governing Board for more than a decade. She was a kind-hearted, loving and wonderful person who gave so much of herself to our school community. Her warmth, dedication and caring nature will be deeply missed.

Our heartfelt condolences go to her family and loved ones during this very difficult time. May God comfort and strengthen them and may they find peace in the precious memories they shared with her.

Our learners welcomed Spring Day with lots of colour and smiles as they arrived at school in their civvies, dressed in bright colours, beautiful florals and cheerful spring-inspired outfits! 🌷☀️

Spring brings a wonderful sense of new beginnings as nature comes alive, the days become warmer and we look forward to sunnier days ahead. It was lovely to see our school filled with so much colour and excitement as we celebrated the arrival of this beautiful season! 🌻💛

🌟 Grade 7 Market Day is coming! 🌟

We are so excited for our Grade 7 Market Day! This is such a wonderful learning opportunity as part of their EMS project. Working in groups, our learners come up with ideas, make their products, market them and finally, sell them to the rest of the school.

It’s also great fun for our other learners, who get to practise paying, working out their change and of course, enjoy all the delicious treats and exciting goodies on offer! 🛍️🍭

A Special Assembly on the Field 🌿🇿🇦

On Friday, our Senior Primary learners had the opportunity to enjoy their assembly out on the field. It was wonderful to be outdoors, taking in the beautiful weather and fresh air while coming together as a school.

Our choir added something very special to the morning, presenting three beautiful songs. It was wonderful to hear their voices filling the field and even more special to see them sing the South African National Anthem with such pride.
