At a fantastic luncheon hosted by Advocate Moosa, Chairman of the Orient Islamic School Board, educators were honoured for their many years of service at the school. Staff inclusive of the maintenance and security were also acknowledged for their commitment and dedication to the school.
The Management, educators and staff of the Orient Islamic School wishes to thank Advocate Moosa for his magnanimous gesture.

The grade 12 high achievers were empowered this morning by special guest and ex-Orient learner, Dr Shamima Dockrat. From being the Head prefect of 2010, Shamima was placed 1st in the Private school category at the Umlazi District Matric Awards and 3rd in the same category at the KZN department of Education matric awards. She went on to complete her MBChB degree (Bachelor of Medicine and surgery) Cum Laude. She motivated the learners into believing that with hard work, perseverance and dedication, anything is achievable.

A memorable day for the Mum's Committee, as they gathered in the School Dining Hall to partake in a cooking lesson.
They where then treated to delicious snacks and refreshments.

The OIS Board of Governors, Management and Staff are honored to welcome Mr. Nasser Ebrahim as the newly appointed Executive Headmaster of the school.
