Today, we celebrate with immense gratitude the 17 years of faithful service, love and dedication that Father Ewen has given to his vocation and to God’s people.
As the St Theresa’s school community, we feel truly blessed to have Father Ewen as part of our family. His presence at our school extends far beyond his role as our priest. He has a genuine and special connection with our staff and learners, always taking a hands-on approach, making himself available, sharing words of encouragement and showing compassion and care in all that he does.
Father Ewen, thank you for the countless ways in which you walk alongside us as a school community. Thank you for your prayers, your guidance, your patience, your kindness and for the love you so freely share with our children. Your presence reminds us that faith is not only something we teach, but something we live through our actions, our service and the way we care for one another.
Today, we also give thanks for the beautiful “yes” you gave to God 17 years ago. A yes that continues to touch and inspire so many lives.
May God continue to strengthen you, guide you and bless you abundantly as you continue your priestly journey. May your ministry continue to be a source of hope, love and light to all those you serve.
