With grateful hearts, we proudly celebrate the opening of the St Theresa’s RC Primary School Library. A special space where imagination, knowledge and faith can grow together. 📚✨

We give all glory and thanks to God for blessing our school community with this beautiful achievement. A sincere thank you to Father Ewen for his blessings and momentous involvement in our opening ceremony, and to the team at Africa’s Anchor of Hope for helping make our vision come to life. A special word of appreciation goes to Gail Richards for sparking this idea and for one conversation that led to the beginning of this incredible journey. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Head Librarian, Miss Leanne Dyer for her weekly dedication to our learners, our Principal, Mr Simpson for his vision, our dedicated parents who generously volunteered and assisted in packing and preparing the shelves, and our hardworking teachers for collecting and donating books. Thank you as well to our supportive SGB for their encouragement and support throughout this endeavour.

Last but certainly not least, we thank Uncle Albert and Uncle Mark from our maintenance staff for their countless hours of hard work behind the scenes, transforming an old storeroom into a beautiful place where children can grow, learn and thrive. We salute these two gentlemen for their dedication and commitment.

May this library inspire a lifelong love for reading, learning and wisdom in every child who walks through its doors.

Our Grade R and Grade 1 learners had an unforgettable day of fun, discovery and adventure at uShaka Marine World! 🐬🌊🐠

From exploring the amazing sea life to enjoying exciting activities, the day was filled with smiles, laughter and precious memories. Thank you to the staff and facilitators for making the excursion such a special and educational experience for our little learners! 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa for visiting St Theresa’s RC Primary School and conscientising our staff and learners about the importance of healthy living and caring for their hearts and well-being.

Your valuable lessons and encouragement reminded us all that “health is wealth,” and that caring for our bodies is one of the greatest investments we can make in our future. ❤️
