Our Grade 11 Life Sciences students were privileged to be visited by Mrs Amelia Moodley, a cardiac technologist who owns her own practice. Mrs Moodley even performed echocardiograms on some students.
This helped deepen their understanding of the heart, its structure and function. With her wealth of knowledge, many years of experience and absolute passion for her field of expertise, Mrs Moodley answered numerous questions and gave excellent advice to our students on how to look after their hearts. Thank you Mrs Moodley! 💙💛

We were privileged last week to receive a visit from Brother John Banwali FMS and Dr Rony Ahlfelt. Brother John is the Treasurer and the South African representative for the Marist Province of Southern Africa, while Dr Ahlfelt is the advisor to the Economato General. The Economato General is the global finance office of the Marist Institute in Rome.
Brother John and Dr Ahlfelt had been with the schools’ management teams at the annual Marist conference the previous week (see https://champagnat.org/en/conference-strengthens-the-path-toward-sustainable-management-of-marist-schools/) and then they visited St Henry’s to gain an in-depth understanding of the school and the environment in which it operates. It was wonderful to share with them our vision for St Henry’s and to receive their support and encouragement. 💙💛
