OFFICIAL NOTICE

We are looking forward to celebrating with our hardworking leaders and students at the International Ministers Institute (IMI) 2026 Graduation in Cape Town.

This graduation is more than a ceremony. It is a celebration of hard work, commitment, perseverance, academic growth, and the desire to continually develop oneself for greater Kingdom impact. We celebrate every graduate who has invested time, sacrifice and discipline in the pursuit of knowledge and effective ministry.

What makes this year’s graduation particularly special is the introduction of our DOCTORAL RESEARCH SHOWCASE.
As part of the graduation programme, selected postgraduate and doctoral researchers will have the opportunity to present a concise insight into their research before scholars, church leaders, practitioners, research fellows, students and other invited guests.

The Doctoral Research Showcase is designed to:
• Create a platform for emerging researchers to communicate their work beyond the classroom.
• Connect theological and academic research with the realities facing the Church, society and communities.
• Encourage meaningful dialogue between scholars, practitioners and ministry leaders.
• Demonstrate how research can contribute to innovation, leadership development and effective ministry.
• Inspire a culture of research, critical thinking and lifelong learning among Christian leaders.
We believe that education should not simply produce graduates; it should produce people capable of contributing knowledge, solving problems and transforming their communities.

This is therefore not only a graduation, it is a celebration of learning, leadership, research and transformation.

Happy New Month to all our International Ministers Institute Students!

As we step into this new month, we celebrate the faithfulness of God and the gift of another opportunity to grow, serve, and become all that He has called us to be.

At International Ministers Institute, we believe that ministry is not merely about occupying a pulpit, it is about becoming the kind of leader God can trust. Therefore, let this month be a season of intentional growth. Pursue what is right even when no one is watching. Continue investing in your personal development, deepen your knowledge of God's Word, strengthen your prayer life, and cultivate integrity, humility, faithfulness, and excellence in every area of your life.

The world does not only need gifted ministers; it needs godly ministers. Our desire is to raise leaders who are sound in doctrine, exemplary in conduct, and Christ-like in character. Your greatest sermon will not only be what you preach but also the life you live.

As you serve, remember that every assignment is ultimately unto the Lord. Serve faithfully, lead with humility, steward every opportunity with excellence, and allow your character to give credibility to your calling. The Kingdom of God is built by leaders who remain faithful in both public ministry and private devotion.

May this month find you growing in wisdom, spiritual maturity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Christ. Continue pressing forward. Continue learning. Continue becoming.May the Lord establish the work of your hands and use you to impact generations for His glory.

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." — 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV)

May you have a blessed, fruitful, and impactful month as you continue to prepare for effective ministry and faithful Kingdom service.

International Ministers University-IMU — OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Equipping Leaders for Effective Ministry

Dear IMU Family, Students, and Friends,

Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

As we embrace the opportunities and responsibilities that come with the digital age, International Ministers University is pleased to announce the official introduction of our Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Policy, effective 2025.

We recognise that AI is rapidly becoming part of everyday life in education, in ministry, and in the world at large.

Like any powerful tool, it comes with both great opportunities and serious challenges. As a Christ-centred institution, it is our responsibility to ensure that technology is used wisely, ethically, and in a manner that honours God and upholds the integrity of genuine scholarship.

Our AI Policy is built on a simple but powerful foundation: REMAIN ORIGINAL.

We believe that every student, every leader, and every minister must develop their own voice, their own thinking, and their own theological understanding. AI cannot pray for you. AI cannot seek the face of God on your behalf. AI cannot cultivate the discernment, wisdom, and faith that effective ministry requires. As 2 Timothy 2:15 instructs us: "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

To our students and leaders; we encourage you with love and great expectation:

Use technology responsibly and transparently. Where AI tools are permitted, disclose their use fully. Let your submitted work always be a true reflection of your own labour, your own faith journey, and your own encounter with the Word of God. Your originality is not just an academic requirement, it is a Kingdom value.

To our postgraduate students at Honours, Masters, and Doctoral level we call you to an even higher standard. The world needs thinkers, theologians, and leaders who have done the hard and holy work of original scholarship. Read our AI Policy carefully, comply fully, and let your research be a genuine contribution to the body of knowledge and to the advancement of God's Kingdom.

At IMU, we do not simply want you to produce a qualification. We want you to BECOME something: a trusted, capable, and Spirit-filled servant of God.

The full AI Use Policy is available through our official channels. We encourage every student, staff member, and partner of IMU to familiarise yourself with it.

We are proud to lead with integrity in an age of rapid change. Together, let us use every resource at our disposal including technology to build leaders who are excellent, authentic, and accountable before God.

God bless you all!

Dr Mesuli Nkomo
