Unfortunately afyer 45 years we have had to close our doors due to Covid-19.
Assumption Pre-school is a well established school and has been serving the community for over 40 years, providing stimulation, education and loving care to countless children. As a community school we offer ball skills, music and percussion and Speech and Drama as part of our daily programme and our year end concert is always the highlight and culmination of our year.

To my Staff, ex staff colleagues and friends of Assumption. I have so many fantastic messages which have been extremely heartwarming during this very difficult time.
I have spent 40 years at Assumption and I don't think Father Danker and my Mom Pat Hawes realized the platform for growth they had created. Teachers trained, Parents helped and children support to grow with lots of love. It's been such a joy. I have enjoyed every single day.
So as I watch people from far and wide buying all sorts of "pieces" of Assumption I have chosen to see it as Joy we have created been spread amongst so many more.
Let us continue to create a world that works with no one left out.

Mrs Hunter our music teacher for the past 30 odd years passed away this morning. Mrs Hunter was 92 years old and only stopped playing the piano for us in 2019. She was a remarkable talented woman. Thank you for all the years that you shared your musical talents with our little people and us. You will be sorely missed by all at Assumption. May you make magical music in heaven. Rest in Peace safe in the arms of Jesus.
