Huge congratulations to our incredible ex-pupil, Ruth Kasanga! 🌟
Ruth, a brilliant Rhodes University Scholar, is officially heading to the UK this September to join the world-renowned Oxford University!
Her inspiring journey continues with Oxford’s prestigious one-year executive Master of Public Policy, where she will gain the vital tools to run government and develop effective policies. But she’s not stopping there—Ruth plans to wrap up her DPhil/PhD at Oxford right after!
The entire New Forest High School family is immensely proud of you, Ruth. Your dedication, intellect, and vision for the future are a true inspiration to our current learners.

We hosted the Umlazi District Volleyball Selections. A perfect day to host..

It is with deep sadness that we inform the New Forest High School community of the passing of our Teacher, Colleague and Friend, Bronwyn Sibilant. She passed away in hospital on Friday, 22 May 2026.
We are forever grateful for the times we have spent with her, her wicked sense of humor and the care and guidance of our learners.

She will be sorely missed.

Our road runners took part in the Stella Royal 10Km run on Sunday. The different terrains tested their commitment and grit but they were up to the task. Thank you to Mrs Barnes, Mr Govender, Parents, Jaden Malekwa (Captain) and his team of road runners 🏃‍♂️
