Learning the alphabet and playing Alphabet Bingo helps Grade R learners develop letter recognition, listening skills, and early literacy foundations in a fun and interactive way.
Through the game, children practise identifying letters, matching sounds, and improving concentration while building confidence and enjoying learning with their friends.

On a Saturday morning, our Grade R Boys have the opportunity to develop their Rugby Ball skills.

Ball skills for rugby help Grade R learners develop coordination, balance, agility, and overall physical strength. Through passing, catching, and running activities, children improve their hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and spatial awareness while learning the importance of teamwork and communication. Rugby ball skills also build confidence, encourage active play, and support healthy physical development in a fun and engaging way.

Our Grade R Girls have the opportunity to develop their Netball ball skills on a saturday morning at school.

Ball skills in netball help develop important coordination, balance, and concentration skills. Through catching, throwing, bouncing, and aiming activities, children strengthen their hand-eye coordination and fine motor control while building confidence and teamwork. Netball ball skills also encourage active play, listening skills, and social interaction in a fun and energetic way.
