4 Glenwood learners accompanied Mr Jordan to the annual Delville Wood Memorial Service held at the Durban Cenotaph. Two WWII 25 - pounder guns were fired during the service. They were inspected by the boys beforehand. From left to right: Diego Pretorius, Thabiso Manesse, Tupelo Mhlapo, Major Craig Nel, NFA (GOB 1985) & Kviolo Zak. A wreath was laid by the boys in memory of the 26 GOBs who died in WWI. "LEST WE FORGET. "

Although the 1st XV Rugby result wasn't the one we hoped for, the Old Boys Weekend was a resounding success. A big thanks to the hardworking GOBA committee.

🏉 Some men wear the Green & Gold. Some never stop carrying it.

From the fields of Glenwood… to leading the Lions through three consecutive Super Rugby Finals… to becoming the 58th Captain of the Springboks… Warren Whiteley has always led with humility, courage and character.

But before any of those achievements, he was simply a Glenwood Boy.

We are incredibly proud to welcome Warren Whiteley (Class of 2006) back home as one of our special guests alongside Adam Lipschitz (class of 2012) at the Glenwood Old Boys' Association Dinner on Friday, 24 July.

His story is a reminder that while careers end and jerseys are eventually hung up, the brotherhood forged at Glenwood never does.

A Glenwood education ends. A Glenwood brotherhood doesn't.

Join us as we celebrate the men, the memories and the lifelong bond that unites generations of Hoppers.
