A huge congratulations to these students for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievements.

We would also like to extend a special congratulations to our coaches on their appointments to the KwaZulu-Natal Coastal Girls’ Hockey teams. Ms Blair has been appointed as the U16A Head Coach, and Mrs Ndlovu as the U16B Manager.

We wish all our students and staff the very best for their upcoming tournaments taking place in July✨

Crawford International La Lucia Preparatory recently held our annual Foundation Phase Inter-House cross country event🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We were blessed with wonderful autumn weather, which allowed our students to perform well. It was very pleasing to see the general level of improvement and increase in participation.

As always, our beautiful campus made it possible that our students get to experience a true cross-country course. One of the highlights was the parents’ race which is always an enjoyable spectacle😄

The Crawford International La Lucia College Grade 12 Spirit Week brought an exciting energy to the corridors last week🌟

From nostalgic childhood career outfits, to dressing like your teacher, meme day, the always hilarious "anything but a bag" day, and of course pajama day ending the week on a comfortable note.

Beyond the fun and dress-up themes, the week served as a reminder of the strong sense of unity within the 2026 Matric group. As the pressures of the final year continue to build, Spirit Week allowed our students to take a step back, enjoy each other’s company and create lasting memories together🖤 The enthusiasm and participation from the Grade 12s made the week a memorable success!

Today, we celebrate the beauty, diversity, and spirit of Africa.
Africa Day is a reminder of the rich cultures, deep histories, resilience, and hope that unites our continent. It is a celebration of the people, traditions, languages, and stories that continue to shape and inspire the world.

As a school community with many nationalities, may we continue to honour the values of unity, compassion, respect, and dignity, recognising that our diversity is one of our greatest strengths.
May we nurture young global leaders who lead with courage, kindness, integrity, and pride in who they are and where they come from.

Last week, Crawford International La Lucia Preparatory proudly hosted the Grade 1 and Grade 2 Soccer and Netball Festival on the Friday and the Grade 3 Soccer and Netball Festival on the Saturday, where students showcased their enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day⚽🏐

The festival provided an exciting opportunity for our young athletes to develop their skills while enjoying friendly competition against neighbouring schools. It was a wonderful day filled with energy, encouragement, and school spirit both on and off the field and courts🌟
