Tayla De Bie spent her teenage years balancing Cambridge studies with elite ballet training, became a professional ballerina — and then had to work out what came next.

And what came next is rather wonderful. 🧡

We talk about ballet, discipline, injuries, changing direction, studying again, juggling multiple jobs, finding new dreams — and why your life does not need to follow one neat, predetermined path.

This one is particularly special to me. I first knew Tayla as the teenager I tutored online. Today, she tutors for TLC. Somewhere along the way she made me her fairy godmother — so naturally, she became my fairy godchild. 🧚‍♀️☕
