Regardless of where in the World we find ourselves, there is stuff happening that is unsettling and fear inducing. Remember that the grass is always greenest where we water it, and we are powerful enough to choose what we water it with.

We have the ability to control our response to what we hear and see. We are not hapless victims of circumstance. No one controls our hearts, minds, will or emotions unless we grant them that privilege.

TAKE COURAGE!!! Keep the pace steady, we can navigate these precarious bends together. We've got this....

Ain't that the truth! But more importantly, we (both gals and guys) have the power to choose to receive behaviour that creates a space for us to thrive. And in the same breathe, we can choose to behave in ways that puts our partner in a great space. We don't belong to anyone, nor do we need to put ourselves in harms way whether mentally, emotionally, or physically, "in the name of love". Loving one person completely, soul, mind and body, is possible and a choice we are all capable of making.

Hey FiZzers!!!! This is a really great way to illustrate boundaries.

We set them to preserve a space we are creating for ourselves where we can explore, learn, fail-forward, grow and contribute. Setting boundaries isn't done to frustrate others, it's done to prioritise the development & health of my "self" because I realise that who I am is incredible and what I carry is priceless....

Today the World lost a Great "Big Guy".

Watching a documentary he made called "Jonah Lomu : Back to South Africa", I was struck at how he changed his stars. Playing his 1st Game for the All Blacks as a fresh faced 19 year old, Jonah's humble beginnings are a testimony to his success - because that's how he chose to live his life.

Can you imagine his frustration at being hooked up to a dialysis machine 4 days a week for 6 hours, after tasting the exhilarating effects of physical strength and success?? Not sure many of us would continue to give of ourselves into our environments under those circumstances. Respect Mr. Lomu!!

Such sadness today. Our prayer is for supernatural grace, comfort and tolerance at this time. We cannot damn a whole people grouping for the cruel behaviour of some within the ranks. Justice? Absolutely. Backlash? Shortsighted. We mourn with you Paris.....

It's straightening up and reaching forward that counts, leaving a legacy that stands strong and beautiful for others to bask in. Who says "normal" or "successful" should look clinical and perfect?
