Wow…….what a start to 2022 it’s been!!!

Thank you so much Jessica Lowings for the warm welcome I have received at Aqua Swimming Academy. I have slotted in so comfortably and am loving being back in the pool with the kids.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all those parents who have welcomed me into the pool with their little ones, a new face isn’t always easy to trust, and to the kiddies, thank you for adjusting so well. I’m loving my time with you all.

For those who do not know me, I ran a swimming school in Scottburgh for 15 years, 2 B Safe Swim School. I am extremely passionate about teaching all levels and ages and thrive in the coaching environment, be it swimming, hockey or waterpolo.

Good morning all.
I would like to thank each and everyone for their continued support through out this year. For your understanding during my crazy, busy times and for entrusting me with your little ones. I have seen such amazing progress and growth and it’s an honor to watch how every little soul has achieved certain milestones.
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a safe new year. If you are traveling, go safely and I hope to see you all back in 2018.

Wonderful Saturday entertainment......

Good day all
I will be offering an adult class once a week from 5 to 6pm on Tuesday evenings for the month of November. This will be a crash course on water orientation, safety and the basics of swimming. Please contact me for price and availability. Don’t miss out with December just around the corner.

I can’t believe it’s the start of our last term tomorrow before Christmas. Can’t wait to see all our kiddies again after their short holiday.

What a fantastic idea

Kylie Skews, the better half of one of our long time loyal players, Ashley Smit approached me having seen a message on the Clansthal Community Chat where Chantal Cobey, a local mom birthed the idea, after a friend had had an emergency C-section at GJ Crookes Hospital and noticed that the babies had nappies on their heads to maintain their body heat, due to the fact they don't have baby beanies.
Scottburgh Old Boys Rugby Club is appealing to all to help Chantal fulfil her dream of seeing all the babies with baby beanies.

Wow, what a proud moment for our little school. I would like to congratulate Eirene Nel on her fantastic results in her zonals and nationals galas. Eirene has bettered her personal best times repeatedly this year and is getting stronger with each competition. I trust you all had a fantastic festive season and a safe new year.
I can't believe we are due to start the school year in exactly one weeks time. Swimming will commence on the 16th January 2017 as last year we battled with the first couple days getting new kids to school and letting them settle.
I will also be teaching afternoons so please share this with anyone you know who may be interested in classes for their primary school kids. My afternoon slots are few so book early. I really hope to see all those little faces back with us. Thank you so much for your continued support last year. Look forward to hearing from you all.

Seasons greetings to all our families. I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and here's to a safe new year. We have finally finished our end of year video and will be getting the DVDs out ASAP. Some more news, we are back in the afternoons this year. Hi all.......I can't believe we are already into December 🙈 shame our kiddies are so tired and cannot wait until Father Christmas comes to visit 🎅🏻 Some exciting news, 2 Bee Safe will be back operating in the afternoons from January next year as well as the mornings. If anyone is interested in afternoon slots please contact me ASAP as these will fill up quickly. I would like to invite all our kiddies and parents (if possible) to join us for our end of year party 🎉 on Wednesday 7th December from 2pm to 4pm. We will be having some fun races, competitions etc with spot prizes. This is just a small thank you from Lauren and myself to all our families for your continued support and understanding throughout the year. As fun as our party will be it's always a sad goodbye to those kiddies moving onto new areas and schools. Lauren and I are both very attached to our swimmers and don't enjoy saying farewell 😢 I will post some photos of our party to this page. Please feel free to add to it.
