Pascal Maths Show PASCAL takes Mathematics from the book to the stage and is integrally linked to the Department of Education's CAPS specific aims and skills.

Umlandisi Theatre supported by KZN Department of Arts and Culture, has created a Mathematics-based theatre production and had the benefit of working with Dept of Education's Senior Education Specialists, applying their expertise in Mathematics. Over the last three years, Umlandisi Theatre has piloted this project across KwaZulu-Natal schools seeking learners and teachers' response and feedback. PA

SCAL takes Maths from the page to the stage by blending Mathematics and Dramatic Arts. The show demonstrates that Maths is part of everyday life. The performance invites learners to creatively explore and solve Mathematics problems in real life situations by using imagination and humor. Pascal is integrally linked to the Department of Education's Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) specific aims and skills. Pascal is available to visit schools in KZN by arrangement. Performance cost between R30 and R40 per learner. As part of our human capital development strategy, we are offering bursaries to B.Eng or B.Sc.Engineering students and Chartered Accountants Training Programme. This aligns to address Transnet’s skills needs in support of the Company’s Market Demand Strategy

Bursary Application (B.Eng or Bsc Engineering)

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 Learners (SA Citizens) with outstanding achievements, minimum five symbol in Mathematics
and Physical Science and students currently studying towards B Eng or B.Sc Engineering are encouraged to apply for one of our comprehensive bursaries in the following disciplines:
•Civil
•Mechanical
•Electrical (Heavy Current)
•Industrial
•Electronic
•Metallurgy (Physical)

Charted Accountants Training (CAT) Programme

Minimum Requirements

B Compt Hons/final year or one year Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) programme. Current
final year CTA students are also welcome to apply. Applications must be accompanied by a CV including
certified copies of your Grade 12 certificate, junior degree transcript, degree, proof of final year CTA
university registration.
