So today was our "Pancakes for PACES" event. All money raised will be used to pay for PACES for our underpriviledges students. Thank you to those schools that participated. Here is Theresa, Elsie and Delene helping us bake at AEE National Office.
"Pancakes for Paces". Our date this year is the 19th June. We are all going to be flipping..... not flipping out, flipping pancakes and selling them. The proceeds will go to our Fundisa Isizwe Trust fund in order to pay for Paces for students that cannot afford them. Please participate and donate. Invite some friends for a pancake meal and have some fun while fundraising for our children.
"Eat right and be bright".... we encourage all our parents to send wholesome food to school for your children.

This morning I visited our Siyakhula Academy with Hendrik Due Jensen from Denmark. What a blessing to see the progress there and the changed lives.
New shoes, uniforms, books, stationary and a new lunch box.... many of us have such good memories of preparing for a new school year...but for many children that is not a reality. At Fundisa Isizwe we are going to do our best again this year to assist children to realize their dream of going to school...contact me if you want to join hands with us in our projects. Your contribution can and does make a difference.
As I am sitting in my office this morning attempting to go through the 25 things on my "to do today" list, I want to take the time to say thank you. Thank you for being part of our Fundisa Isizwe journey... thank you for your support, love and prayers. Thank you.
This is Nokwanda, a grade 1 student at Siyakhula Academy, reading. We are so proud of all our grade 1 students. They are reading fluently and writing beautifully and remember, English is their second language. Please consider being part of this vision. At Fundisa, we have the passion, the purpose and the programmes, all we need for you is to open your purse and participate. for more information contact us and look at our website www.fundisatrust.co.za.

On Saturday we celebrated with Siyakhula Pre-school at their yearly prizegiving. What joy to see 21 students graduate!! They are ready for big school now and 18 will be attending Siyakhula Academy next year. We look forward to seeing them become what they were created to be.
Well done to the Vryheid school for their tremendous effort with the "Pancake for Paces" fundraising effort.
Thank you to Delene and Elsie for helping me with the "Pancakes for Paces" fundraiser this morning. We did very well and the pancakes were delicious. I cannot wait to get some news and photos from our schools that participated so we can see who the winners are.
