Grade 4–11 Excursion to Giba Gorge
Our Grade 4 to Grade 11 learners had an exciting and memorable excursion to Giba Gorge, where adventure, teamwork and plenty of fun were on the agenda!
The day began with an adventurous 5 km hike to the beautiful waterfall, giving our learners the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, challenge themselves and experience the natural beauty of Giba Gorge. Along the way, there was plenty of laughter, encouragement and teamwork as everyone tackled the hike together.
After the hike, the fun continued with exciting team-building games, where learners worked together, supported one another and put their communication skills to the test. The obstacle course brought even more excitement as learners challenged themselves to complete each section, while the tight-rope activity tested their balance, courage and determination.
To make the day even more special, Bluff Christian Academy was proudly awarded a Giba Gorge trophy! 🏆 This was a wonderful achievement and a fantastic reminder of the teamwork and enthusiasm shown by our learners throughout the day.
A huge thank you to our teachers and staff for making the excursion possible and for keeping our learners safe and encouraged throughout the day. Most importantly, our learners returned home with tired feet, big smiles and wonderful memories!
