What a Memorable Founders’ Week! ✨
We look back with immense pride and gratitude on a truly special Founders’ Week at St Henry’s Marist College. It was a week filled with connection, celebration, and Marist spirit — and our alumni made it all the more meaningful.

From the elegance of the Benefactors’ Evening to the energy of the Alumni vs Juniors Soccer Match, every moment reminded us of the strength of our Marist family. We were honoured to celebrate traditions through the Kit Handovers, and enjoyed wonderful camaraderie on the course at the Marist Golf Day.

The Alumni Assembly and Champagnat Day Mass gave us time to reflect on our shared values and heritage, while the Alumni Reunion Evening was a highlight — a joyful gathering of stories, laughter, and lasting friendships.

Saturday’s Founders Day Sports once again showcased incredible school spirit, bringing together past and present students in celebration. We were also privileged to award Honorary Alumni, recognising those who have made a lasting impact on our community.

To all our alumni — thank you. Your presence, your support, and your continued connection to St Henry’s means so much. You are an essential part of what makes our school so special.

A beautiful Holy Mass was celebrated in our stunning St Henry’s Marist College Quad on Friday, 5 June 2026, in honor of our founder, Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

The gathering brought together members of our school community to reflect on and celebrate the enduring legacy, values, and vision of St Marcellin Champagnat, whose spirit continues to inspire generations of Marists.

Congratulations to St Henry's Marist College alumnus Jonathan Wimberley ( 2019 Deputy Head Boy) on receiving your Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree, with distinction. He was also awarded the Vice Chancellor and Principal’s award for being the top student across 6 years of study at the University of Pretoria. We are very proud of you Dr Wimberley.

🎉 The St Henry’s Marist College Class of 1971 kicked off their 55th Reunion celebrations in style with a special lunch at the Durban Country Club earlier today.

We look forward to welcoming them back to St Henry’s Marist College for the Alumni Reunion Cocktail Evening on Friday, 5 June 2026.

This is a special opportunity for alumni to engage with our current students – we warmly invite you to share a quick story, a nostalgic memory, or a fun anecdote that reflects your time at St Henry's. Followed by a tour of the campus.

ALUMNI REUNION COCKTAIL EVENING
Date: Friday, 5 June
Time: 18:00
Venue: St Henry's Marist College – Marist Association Hall
Cost: R300 per person
Join us for an evening of mingling, catching up, sharing stories, and plenty of laughter as we reconnect as a Marist family.

FOUNDER'S DAY SPORTS FESTIVAL
Date: Saturday, 6 June

Fixtures Schedule will be shared.

Alumni will have exclusive use of the Marist Association Hall – a perfect space to relax, connect, and enjoy the day's festivities together. Wear your Blue & Gold and support our teams. Join the school on the field for the traditional 1st XV run on around 12h15.

The bar will be opened after the final whistle until 17h00.

We have extended the RSVP deadline to Wednesday 03 June and would greatly appreciate your response for both the Alumni Assembly and the Cocktail Evening.
