Yesterday, we had the joy of celebrating Grandparents Day with our Grade R-7 students and their beloved grandparents! It was a memorable day filled with laughter, learning, and the warmth of family tradition as everyone joined in making Challah – a traditional braided bread that holds special significance in Jewish culture. Challah is enjoyed on Shabbat and Jewish holidays as a symbol of togetherness, nourishment, and gratitude.

Thank you to all the grandparents who came and made the day so special for our students! Your presence brought a unique warmth to our community, and the challah-making activity was a beautiful reminder of the traditions and values that bind us together.

What a spectacular end to Term 3 at Akiva College! Our students amazed us with a brilliant performance of Roald Dahl's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. They brought the story to life with creativity and passion. A standing ovation to all involved!
