The R+S School of Music was founded in 1996 in Stanger by Director Raj Chetty who hails from a musical family background assisted by his wife Sharon Chetty. They tutor both North + South Indian Music.They offer tuition in Vocals,Harmonium,Tabla,dholak,Naal,mryidangam,Violin,Bansuri + Percussion to name a few.They tutor in the North Coast,South Coast + Durban areas + also offer Private tuition.This

School of music focuses on promoting + preserving our indian culture + also focuses on fusion music showcasing the versatility of our indian music.They are also service providers for entertainment of Weddings,night before the wedding,engagements,parties ,home service + ceremonies + offer music to suite your occassion as well as dance + compering of your function.The School of Music Celebrates their 20th Anniversary this year in teaching students all over Durban the art of singing and playing instruments. Their students range from 3yrs to 78 yrs old and from various ethnic groups and various religious organisations. The R & S School of Music believes that Music has No barrier to age,race or creed and that Music is the language of the heart.
