Reddam House Umhlanga Reddam House Umhlanga is a world-class co-ed and boarding school, with over 1100 students.

Umhlanga College opened its doors in 2003 with an enrolment of 26 students. Since then it has grown rapidly to the present number of 1100 students. In 2008 the Senior Primary was opened, and five years later, in 2013, the vision of a High School was realised with the inaugural Grade 8 class of 17 students with the first class of Matric in 2017 achieving a phenomenal 100% Bachelor's Degrees pass rate in the IEB NSC examinations. Set on 17 hectares of land, the School provides modern and spacious facilities, where children are encouraged to be children while functioning within the parameters of a robust and bespoke curriculum. The School’s tranquil setting is ideal for learning and outdoor activities. The land on which the School is situated was part of the original Burnside Farm and cane cutters’ quarters. Although it sits on the edge of the rapidly expanding Umhlanga Ridge, it is a school that retains a ‘country’ feel. Despite an impressive growth rate, the School maintains its traditional ‘small school’ values and Christian ethos.

We’re in the final stretch of the term, and today was the perfect way to celebrate! ✨

Pre Heritage Day celebrations brought colour, culture and plenty of pride, while Interhouse Soccer brought the competitive spirit, with some seriously tense matches between students, staff and coaches. ⚽️

A day filled with fun, celebration, school spirit and a whole lot of energy as we head into the final day of term tomorrow!
