Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please be reminded of our Parents’ Meetings taking place this Saturday, the 22nd.

We will start with our General Parents’ Meeting at 08:00, where we will discuss important school matters and learner progress.

This will be followed by our Grade 9 Subject Choice Meeting at 10:00. This session is extremely important for all Grade 9 parents, as we will guide you through the subject choices, requirements, and what they mean for your child’s FET phase and future career path.

Your attendance and support mean a great deal to us. We look forward to seeing you there.

Today, we celebrate every woman: the teachers who guide us, the students who dream big, our hardworking admin staff, caretakers, and the mothers, aunties, mentors, and leaders who shape our world. Behind every lesson taught, every goal chased, and every dream supported, there is a woman.

We honour all women for the voices that speak up, the hands that lift others, and the hearts that never stop giving. From our classrooms to our homes and communities, your impact is everywhere. Happy Women’s Day to every woman who inspires, empowers, and makes a difference. 💜

✨ REFLECTING ON OUR MATRIC DANCE ✨

Our Matric Dance was an evening of celebration, laughter, reflection and good energy as we took a moment to celebrate the journey of our Class of 2026.

Our MC, NhlaNhla, opened the evening by welcoming everyone and setting the tone for the celebration, while Ayabonga Chiya led us in prayer. Our Head Girl and Head Boy then reflected on the journey that has brought our Matrics to this point, reminding everyone of how far they have come; and encouraging them to keep their eyes on the prize and give it their all as they approach the final push towards the finish line.

We then lightened the mood with a fun icebreaker that had everyone laughing. Mthokozisi Gumede took on the challenge of impersonating some of our teachers while everyone else tried to guess who was being portrayed. It was a memorable moment that gave us a chance to see our teachers from a learner's perspective! 😂

The rest of the evening was filled with good food, great energy and plenty of enjoyment as our Matrics and staff came together to celebrate, create memories and enjoy the occasion.

As the Class of 2026 enters the final stretch, may the memories of this evening serve as a reminder of the journey, the people who have been part of it and everything that still lies ahead. 🎓✨
