Citrus Research International will host a series of Production, Integrated Pest and Disease Management workshops across six regions in South Africa, focusing on critical and current topics:

- Citrus economics

Citrus Academy short courses are a great way to familiarise yourself with the citrus value chain.
The Citrus Export Supply Chain short course explores each stage of the citrus export chain, highlighting the roles of key service providers such as cold stores, fruit terminals, export agents, and shipping agents. It also covers the importance of meeting market requirements, conducting inspections, complying with special market standards, and managing documentation at every step.
Participants learn about best practices to ensure that fruit reaches international markets in optimal condition.

Citrus Academy staff met with leaders of Kwadinabakubo Secondary School, Principal Mr Ngidi and Deputy Principal Mrs Phakathi, in the Upper Highway area of Durban earlier today, to deliver a donation of new school shoes to Grade 8-12 pupils.
This initiative forms part of an annual drive Citrus Academy undertakes, where staff contribute, with the Academy matching their donations towards a worthy cause.
Thank you to Citrus Academy and staff, and a special mention to Toughees for supporting NPO initiatives.
