Jane Goodall, famed primatologist, anthropologist and conservationist, dead at 91

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Dudley Forde (Pascoe, 1956), a former Rector of Michaelhouse from 1997 to 2001. Dudley touched the lives of so many boys, staff, and Old Boys during his headship and his legacy will long be remembered.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, 25 September at 14h30 at St Thomas’s Church, Musgrave Road, Durban.

We would appreciate it if you could share these arrangements with those who may not be part of this group, so that all who wish to pay their respects have the opportunity to do so.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this time.

It doesn’t add up – school has only two teachers A school in the Eastern Cape only has two mathematics teachers – and learners are deprived of lessons in other subjects.
