Home Grown Learning Centre HGLC is a private organisation set up to provide quality education using an approved curriculum. All the benefits of private education

What grades do you teach and what happens after they finish with you (HGLC)? We start from Grade R to Matric. How would you describe your school? This type of schooling can be thought of as a 'boutique' school environment. The word boutique itself explains it quite well in that the word boutique is defined as any small, exclusive business offering a customized service. Essentially our schooling is

an unique concept of providing students with quality teaching in a relaxed and comforting learning environment. We work closely with all our students, developing relationships with them in order to maximise the learning experience. At HGLC the focus is on the student. We aim to provide a quality learning process in a small classroom structure. We Impaq as our curriculum provider, in accordance with the National Curriculum. We are not a remedial school, however we have been able to help students with slight learning difficulties. We offer an alternative to mainstream schooling. What if my child needs to go back into a mainstream school? Students are able to rejoin the school system at any time. We work on the premise that many of these children may go back to school. We employ teachers and experienced tutors. All reports are accredited by UMALUZI.
