With breathtaking visuals, powerful music, and an unforgettable story, this promises to be a show not to be missed! South African School Team Championship 2026 – Outstanding Achievement! 🏆♟️

Today, our chess team competed in the South African School Team Championship 2026 on Tornelo. The tournament consisted of 7 rounds and attracted 74 schools and 357 players from across South Africa.

We are delighted to announce that Abu, Mikhail, Dhrishay, and Kira achieved an exceptional result, scoring 6 points out of 7 and sharing 1st place on points in the tournament! 🎉

After the application of the tournament’s tiebreak rules, our team was awarded 2nd place overall. While the final standings placed us second, sharing the highest score in a strong national field is an outstanding accomplishment and a reflection of the talent, dedication, and teamwork of our players. This achievement has earned the team the opportunity to compete in Cape Town later this year.
