Parent-Teacher Meeting to discuss academic progress of your child. Saturday, 01 August 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00

Today, we held a special assembly to recognise and celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of our learners. Academic badges were awarded to learners who achieved 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in their respective grades.

Congratulations to all the recipients on this well-deserved achievement. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence have been recognised, and we are incredibly proud of you. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the parents and guardians for their unwavering encouragement and support, which play a vital role in our learners' success.

To those learners who did not receive an academic badge this time, do not be discouraged. Let this be a source of motivation to work even harder. Every term provides a new opportunity to improve, and with determination, perseverance, and consistent effort, you too can earn this recognition. Continue believing in yourselves and striving for excellence.

Well done to all our learners. Together, let us continue to foster a culture of academic excellence, dedication, and lifelong learning at our school.

Due to low attendance caused by the water shutdown in surrounding areas, school will *dismiss from 12:00 today, 24 July 2026*.

Please make the necessary transport arrangements for your child.

Normal teaching and learning will resume on *Monday, 27 July 2026*.

Ferndale currently has water, however we understand that the pressure may decrease.

We kindly ask parents to use their discretion regarding children’s attendance today.
The school will monitor the situation and will review dismissal time if necessary.
