Position: Facilitator (Training Provided)
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Facilitators, supporting children who require additional learning and developmental support. Full training will be provided; however, previous experience in a related field will be highly advantageous.

Role Overview:
As a Facilitator, you will work closely with children who need support across various developmental and learning areas, helping them reach their full potential in a structured, nurturing environment.

Key Areas of Support Include (but are not limited to):
* Cognitive development and executive functioning
* Social communication and interaction skills
* Emotional regulation and behavioural support
* Fine and gross motor skill development
* Academic support and classroom facilitation
* Sensory processing and self-regulation strategies

Ideal Candidate:
* A genuine passion for working with children with diverse learning needs
* Patient, compassionate, and dependable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and grow through training and supervision

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with DUT’s Department of Textile Science and Apparel Technology on such a meaningful initiative🙏💖💐. It was truly a privilege to share our knowledge, contribute to innovative learning, and be part of a project that supports neurodivergent children through thoughtful, inclusive design.

In recognition of Autism Acceptance Month💙, this collaboration allowed us to not only raise awareness but also promote understanding, compassion, and real impact. Seeing students engage in sustainable practices while creating weighted sensory blankets has been both inspiring and rewarding.

Together, we continue to advocate for inclusion, celebrate neurodiversity, and work towards solutions that make a difference💜

Autism Acceptance is every day, but especially today, let’s take some time to remember that Autism is not something to fix, it’s a different way of experiencing the world.

Acceptance means:
❣️Listening instead of assuming
❣️Supporting instead of changing
❣️Creating spaces where neurodivergent individuals feel safe, understood, and valued

Let’s move beyond awareness and choose acceptance, inclusion, and respect all day, every day.
